Questions or concerns? Reading this notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have questions, contact us at info [at] ilovevpn.app.
App Store Guideline 5.4 commitment: iLove VPN is a VPN service. We commit that we do not sell, use, or disclose to third parties any data collected through the VPN for any purpose other than operating the Service.
SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS
This summary provides key points from our Privacy Notice. You can find more detail in the section that follows.
- What personal information do we process? Only the minimum needed to run the VPN and
manage your subscription: your device's WireGuard public key, an internal VPN IP we assign, your chosen country, and an anonymous subscription identifier. We do not collect your name, password, payment card, or browsing activity.
- Do we process sensitive personal information? No.
- Do we collect information from third parties? Only your subscription status from our
payment/subscription provider (RevenueCat/Apple).
- How do we process your information? To provide, secure, and maintain the VPN, manage
subscriptions, respond to support, and comply with law. Never for advertising or sale.
- Do we keep activity logs? No. We do not log the sites you visit, your DNS queries,
or the content of your traffic.
- How do we keep your information safe? WireGuard encryption; your private key is
generated on-device and never sent to us.
- What are your rights? Depending on your location, you may have rights to access,
correct, or delete your data.
- How do you exercise your rights? Email info [at] ilovevpn.app.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us for support. This is limited to your email address and the contents of your message. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, phone number, password, mailing address, or payment card details to use the App.
Subscription information. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your card number or billing address. To manage your access, our subscription provider gives us an anonymous subscriber identifier (app_user_id) and your entitlement status (active/expired).
Information automatically collected to operate the VPN. To establish a tunnel, our coordination server processes:
- your device's WireGuard public key (never your private key — that stays on your device);
- an internal VPN IP address we assign you (e.g.
10.66.0.x); - the country/server you selected;
- provisioning timestamps (when a connection record is created/removed).
What we deliberately do NOT collect or log: browsing or DNS history, the content of your traffic, activity logs linking your identity to a timestamp/IP, advertising identifiers, or any cross-app tracking data.
Stealth Mode (VLESS-Reality). When you enable Stealth Mode in restricted-network regions, the App establishes an additional TLS-mimicking tunnel using the open-source sing-box engine. The data we process is identical to the WireGuard path: a per-client random UUID, a short identifier, and the country/server you selected. Traffic content is never inspected, decrypted, modified or logged. The Reality public key, SNI target and server bootstrap data are operational metadata and are reset when you disconnect.
On-device AI features (Privacy Insights, Predictive Routing). When enabled, the App runs small machine-learning summaries entirely on your device using Apple's Foundation Models framework (where available) or a deterministic on-device template otherwise. No training data, no usage patterns and no derived insights are sent to us or any third party.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your information to:
- Provide and maintain the VPN — create, route, and tear down your encrypted tunnel;
- Manage your subscription — verify your entitlement and grant or revoke access;
- Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse — e.g. detect unhealthy servers, and block
outbound port 25 to deter spam;
- Respond to your support requests;
- Comply with legal obligations that genuinely apply to us.
We do not process your information for advertising, profiling, or sale.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
If you are in the EU or UK, this section applies to you. We process your personal information only when we have a valid legal reason:
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the VPN you subscribed to;
- Legitimate interests — to keep our network secure and prevent abuse, in a way that does
not override your rights;
- Legal obligations — to comply with applicable law;
- Consent — where you have given it (you may withdraw it at any time).
If you are in Canada, we may process your information with your express or implied consent, or where permitted by law.
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers (sub-processors) strictly to operate the Service, each contractually bound to process data only on our instructions:
| Provider | Role | What they process |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | App distribution & payments | Your purchase (we never see card data) |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management | Anonymous app_user_id, entitlement & purchase events |
| Vultr | VPN server hosting | Carries your encrypted traffic; not inspected or logged by us |
| Hetzner | Coordination-server hosting | Public keys, assigned internal IPs |
| Cloudflare | Edge / tunnel | Transiently routes API traffic; abuse protection |
We may also disclose information in connection with a business transfer (merger, sale of assets) or where required by a valid, binding legal order that applies to us. Because we keep no activity logs, the data we could ever produce is limited to the operational records described in Section 1.
5. WHAT IS OUR STANCE ON THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES?
The Service lets you reach websites and online services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of any third party, and this notice does not apply to them. We are not responsible for the safety of any information you share with third parties.
6. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
The iLove VPN app does not use cookies, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers, and does not track you across other apps or websites. This website remembers your language with one functional cookie and measures anonymous traffic with Google Analytics (plus cookieless Ahrefs Web Analytics). It runs no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?
We do not offer social-media login, and we do not receive profile information from Facebook, Google, X/Twitter, or any other social platform.
8. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?
We operate VPN servers in multiple countries so you can choose where to connect; when you select a country, your traffic is routed through a server there. Our coordination server is hosted in the EU. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
- Connection / peer records (public key, assigned internal IP, country): deleted when you
disconnect, and automatically revoked when your subscription expires.
- Subscription identifier and status: retained by our subscription provider while your
subscription is active and as needed for billing disputes and legal/accounting obligations.
- Support emails: kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
We keep personal information no longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this notice.
10. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
- Traffic is encrypted with WireGuard® (Curve25519, ChaCha20-Poly1305).
- Your private key is generated on your device and stored in the iOS Keychain; it is
never transmitted to us.
- Servers are access-controlled and provisioned with a hardened configuration.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
11. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Depending on your location (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, Canada, or US states), you may have the right to: access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email info [at] ilovevpn.app. Because much of what we process is anonymous operational data, we may ask for limited information (e.g. your app_user_id) to locate it.
12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
We do not track users across third-party websites or apps, so there is no cross-site tracking for a Do-Not-Track (DNT) signal to opt out of.
13. DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Yes. If you are a resident of California or another US state with a privacy law, you have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or similar laws, and we have not done so. We do not process sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. To exercise your rights, contact info [at] ilovevpn.app.
14. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
Yes. We may update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date and, for material changes, a more prominent notice.
15. HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?
If you have questions or comments, email us at info [at] ilovevpn.app or contact us by post at:

16. HOW CAN YOU REVIEW, UPDATE, OR DELETE THE DATA WE COLLECT FROM YOU?
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To do so, email info [at] ilovevpn.app. We will respond consistently with applicable law.
